stupid email notification

HELP !!! I have set my default notification sound yet when I recieve an email it's different??? Note 3

the email notification sounds are set within the mail application --> start mail --> menu button --> settings --> select the account setting section and touch the account you want to change the notification sound-->Notification settings.

Welcome to the forums.
The above poster has a good starting point. Many apps have their own notification sounds that must be changed within the app settings.
