A better camera, a bigger battery, and an unbreakable screen, who would buy the regular Z for a savings of less than a $100 unless you had to have that form factor?

There will likely be a difference in the quality of the screens. Also those unbreakable screens scratch easily. Someone like me who has never broken a phone in their life would be neutral on an unbreakable screen and turned off by any compromises.

That still leaves a better camera and bigger battery. Supposedly the screen difference is much smaller this year, but who knows?

My impression is that it's mostly a matter of putting a good screen protector on to prevent the scratches. I get your point though, I've never broken a screen in 6 years / 4 phones. I've dinged a couple corners and had a couple semi-notable scratches, but that's it. Still, nice to know it shouldn't be able to break.

If the only difference was the battery and screen, I'd be tempted by the regular Z, since I'd likely put a battery mod on anyway (for wireless charging), so smaller internal battery + battery mod = large overall battery capacity. Hate to pass on the higher resolution camera, though.

That's what I did. I got the regular z and the wireless charging mod. It is working well for right not. Just got it a couple of hours ago. So far so good. It sits well on the device. Doesn't move. And it is easy to remove.
