How bout next time, when you announce something, you go ahead and put up a preorder page so you don't have thousands of people trying to buy something at the exact same time, especially since your hundreds of thousands of servers are having a hard time keeping up

Ah, some optimistic soul that didn't live through the Nexus 7 preorder fiasco I see. After waiting and waiting and waiting for my 7 to come, only to see people getting them from Game Stop and Sams while I am STILL FREAKING WAITING I cancelled and bought my 7 from Sams. Google has no idea how to run sales. At all. You don't want to wait for a preorder from them.

Didn't get it online thinking I'd get it in store. Not sure what's going on with that and now it's sold out online.. haha

I suspect Google took ALL of the initial stock for their online stores and maybe the next round of shipments will be for retail and the Play store. It seems Google got this one screwed up big time. Honestly fire the person responsible for the ordering and logistics. How could you FAIL to deliver these to retail and online, not offer Pre-Orders and still not take any more orders with shipping times listed like Apple does. It's embarrassing for the Android world and hardly a ringing endorsement for Google.
