So I picked up a class 10 32 Gb Card and put it in. Then realized my phone was storing some stuff like themes for my launcher on the old one. How do I transfer everything to the Internal drive and where do I go to change the settings so that the phone ONLY uses the internal drive? I want the 32GB external card for music only.

Thanks

bump on this!
just yesterday i put in a new 8gig card and some of my apps said they where not installed. i was very surprised to see they sit on the external sd?!? what do people do when they have a new card? some sort of backup?

Go to settings > applications > manage applications > choose the app > move to phone.

So does this move it to the internal SD card or the small section of the internal SD card that is designated as "internal phone storage"? If memory serves me right there is roughly 16 gigs of memory on the internal SD card with around 2 of that saved for internal phone storage.

Basically my goal is to save the external SD card for music only and then the internal SD card for apps, media and basically everything else.

It occured to me that I may just be being too OCD. My iPhone had only one location for storage so maybe I should worry less about what is stored where and let the phone deal with it.

Go to settings > applications > manage applications > choose the app > move to phone.

....also, if you choose "on sd card" on top, shows you what you need to move. wonder what determines when you install an app where it goes?

If you have a lot of apps that's a lot of work.

I just connected my phone to a computer via USB (storage mode), made sure everything was visible, then copied everything to a folder. disconnected phone, shut down, swapped cards, powered up, then connected and copied everything back. All my apps that were on SD were there and worked fine.
