So my LG-G3 arrived, and now the issue.
Can I remove the sim card from the new one and cut my Thunderbolt sim card and install it?
Would like to start the new phone up and play with it without any sim card installed.

Yes you can swap SIM cards around. You can cut down your old one or buy a cutter. You can only have one card active on your line.

Why do you need to swap the sim? Different line? Or did you do you something like the best buy method to keep unlimited data?

Unless you are trying to keep unlimited data, I would just use the new sim. Some phones allow usage without activation, I am not sure if the g3 is like this or not

Sent from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Thanks for the reply.
I bought it outright from Amazon as I am on month to month and have Unlimited Data.

I wanted to go through the phone features without a sim card first.
Waiting on adapter so after I cut the card, I can still put into my Thunderbolt if needed.

Your not going to want to use the thunderbolt after you used the g3,lol. That phone probably had the worst battery life of any phone I owned.

Dang it ...you have some far reaching eyeballs!
I have two Rezound batteries one in and one always charged to keep on me when I know I am away from charging for more than 6 hours.

Thx

I did the rezound battery thing to. You must be turning LTE off of you can get 6 hours. I think I was charging mine every 4.

So here are my results.
I carefully cut my sim card, purchased the adaptor and swapped the sim card between my new LG-G3 and Thunderbolt. I checked each time on my Verizon Account and each phone came up with UDP.

So being on a month to month works best to buy the damn phone outright and keep UDP.
