Is it worth it? I tried the trial version but I just couldn't get used to it, I type faster on the default keyboard.

I've tried it as well and went back to stock. Why pay anything for something you don't like and may possibly never use.

I took a look at Swiftkey, but I like the Motorola keyboard much better.

Swiftkey was worth it on my incredible, but on the MAXX it just doesn't work as well. Something is up with the multi-touch for swiftkey, if I type as fast as I did on the incredible it causes swiftkey to delete words on the MAXX. If it were me, I'd pass, stock and swype work better on the MAXX.
