I originally installed a (T-Mobile compatible) Straight Talk sim card on the Nexus 4 but haven't been happy with the coverage. So yesterday, I installed a Straight Talk sim card that's AT&T compatible.
The phone works, but the data doesn't. I just got off the phone with Straight Talk customer service, who says that whatever sim card you put in first - that's the carrier the phone works with - FOREVER. And my phone, because I started out with T-Mobile, is forever a T-Mobile phone, and it won't work with AT&T.
I find this hard to believe. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks.
