No. The view of the folder only shows 4 icons prior to opening.
I'm curious why this matters? You already know which folder you want to use. What difference does it make if you see 4 icons or all of the icons?
Go to nova settings then home screen , scroll to the bottom and toggle on add apps to home screen View attachment 309772
Your welcome, no problem!Thank you and everyone for trying to help. I was hoping my screens would simply auto populate with all my apps using the Nova launcher. Instead it appears I need to manually place all my apps onto the screen one by one. A bit too cumbersome for my patience level at this time so I gave up. May revisit this again next time.
I gave one UI a chance and it was ok. I couldn't take not having some of the features that Nova provided so I went back. The hidden folder option was the main one. I'm curious what launchers are you else using.
Are you trying to get rid of the app drawer all together, and have all your apps on your home screens?
You can hide and disable any shortcut, widget or gestures to open the app drawer. It'll be still there but with no access to open it.This is what I want to do.is there a way to do it on Nova ? I did it with one iu , but I don't like one iu. I know I can just move all my apps to the home screen, but I want to get rid of the app drawer.
Nova , No change in battery life, others cant comment as dont use them.Anyone notice any battery life changes going from one launcher to the next?

You just need to move all your apps to your screens and enable, in Nova settings, the option to add shortcuts for any new app that you download.
Yes, Nova or any custom launcher only control the home screens and the app drawer, the rest of screens are still controlled by Samsung One UI.So I just installed Nova the other day.... found out I can still run samsung themes to theme the notification panel, keyboard, messages list so on and still use play store icon packs so everything flows!! That is really awesome

Not sure what you mean. Which icons?except for Apex. can't get the icons. everything else works though.
Oh, of course. A custom launcher will only work with icon packs downloaded from the Play Store, as Mach1man said.from the theme store
