Switching between android phones

Ok so im new to android and I just got a vibrant.i really love android now but I'm thikimg of putting it on ebay and switching to a better phone, most likely a evo on e bay too. Any opinions or suggestions?

from what i have heard about the galaxy s series, they are solid phones, and have the best displays of any android phone on the market, evo included. if your intention is to switch off of t-mo to sprint, i get that. but if carrier isnt an issue, i would probably stick with the vibrant
