Switching between stock camera and photos app in Lollipop

Maybe I'm missing something but since my Lollipop upgrade, the stock camera app will capture pics but won't let me review them. After I snap a picture, I have to leave the camera app then open the "Photos" app to review them. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

When you're in the Camera app and swipe to the left nothing happens?
