I switched back to the Nexus 6 from the iPhone 6S Plus. It was pure impulse. But so far I have no complaints.
Still enjoying the 6 over your iPhone?

It is still very snappy. I haven't had any issues with it at all.

I am. I haven't even been on the forums really since switching. My Nexus 6 has been a real workhorse. Can't say enough about it.
The forums are cool. The traffic seems less now than before. And there are less devices being released now that spark my interest. As of right now, I'm only interested in the Nexus, iPhone, and Samsung Note series. And I think this year it will come down to the Note or the Nexus. I'm actually thinking about just getting the 6P when it's discounted in the fall. I'm not so much in love with the Note series as I used to be anymore. The pen is nice, but I'm not really seeing the benefit anymore. And there isn't a Samsung service outside of Samsung Pay that I would use over a Google service. That's awesome. I need to get off the forums sometime. I'm looking at coming back to Android. I can get so much more bang for my buck with Android compared to iOS and Apple.

I hear you. My Nexus and Chromebook more than suffice for now.The forums can be cool. But they also sometimes make someone like me act even more wishy-washy about my decisions. As of right now the only things that have my attention are stock or as close to stock as they can be devices. iPhone, Nexus, or HTC 10. I've been on my iPhone 6s Plus since December. I definitely like it quite a bit. But I also want a secondary device. And I don't see me spending the money for a MacBook or iPad Pro. Just don't think they're worth what Apple charges. I'm also more firmly invested in Google, so it makes it a tougher decision to go the all-Apple route. I pre-ordered the HTC 10. And if I stay with that, I can grab a first gen Pixel from Expansys (for $400) or one of those new HP Chromebook 13s for $599. The phone Chromebook combo would run me basically what just a fully loaded iPad Pro would cost me. And with the rumors of Chromebooks getting google Play, it makes them all the more appealing. And cost effective.

Bingo!!Yeah. It would for me too. These are the things I do with a phone: email, call, text, calendar appointments/reminders, take pics and videos, browse social media, check out the forums, mess with my fantasy teams, play the occasional game, watch YouTube, and watch the occasional movie while on trips.
I would use a Chromebook for similar things but toss in some word processing and spreadsheets.
So basically nothing I do necessarily has to be done on an iPhone or Apple product. I'm doing the same thing right now just with more expensive products. Which is unnecessary.
