Swype Beta using alot of data?

I just updated swype yesterday and I noticed today that is using up alot of data. ~45 MB over 3g/4g (all in the background) and ~75 MB over wifi in just one day. Anyone else having this issue? Is there something going on behind the scenes that the app is doing? Sending data packets back and forth from my phone to swype? I'm about to uninstall it until this issue is resolved since I'm capped at 2GB for now.

Check the options...maybe there's some data reporting u can turn off...our maybe the text to speech?

I turned off Swype connect so let's see if that helps

I don't have an s3 but I have the same issues with swype so I can I guess confirm this. It's using an a$$ ton of data and ram. I've switched to SwiftKey 3. It works much better for me

Thanks...it's gotten alot better since I turned off Swype connect
