Should work, although I use a wired mouse.

I just purchased a windows bluetootooth mouse on advice and I can't get it to work. And as far as I know there is no way to connect a wired mouse - no USB slots!

Wired? how? so when you connect a mouse, a cursor shows up?

Yes. It works perfectly, except the scroll wheel is really slow. All I did was attach it to my ASUS, and it worked. Wired USB.

I've even hooked up a gaming controller to my tablet. Take a look: uploadfromtaptalk1360293460563.jpg

ok.. you have the dock.. the dock isn't normally sold with the device.

Your thread is titled: Syncing a Bluetooth Mouse to TF300(T). It is possible, same way as using a Bluetooth keyboard: As long as it's compatible with the Android software, it should work seamlessly. The dock, however, is only $50, and is well worth the price. I have heard of such rumors of an adapter that turns the TF300T's USB port into a standard USB port, although I've never bothered to look into said rumor, for the dock is everything I need and more.

I tried plugging in a usb mouse but it was not recognised. Is there anything i need to do for the mouse to be recognised?

Depends on the brand of it. I just used a GE Mouse and it worked just fine. All I had to do was leave it connected for a minute and then the tablet recognized it as a mouse.

I am also looking for a bluetooth mouse to use with my Asus Transformer . I bought a logitec blutooth mouse but although it was recognised it did not work (the same mouse worked perfectly with my samsung galaxy sIII, so the mouse is compatible with android). I have also bought 2 bluetooth keyboards and all work perfectly with My Tf300.

With regards to usb wired devices, i bought an adapter and all mice and keyboards tried so far work perfectly.

However if anyone managed to connect a blue tooth mouse, having the brand and model would be appreciated.

I recently got a Motorola Bluetooth mouse for $8 from Dailysteals.com. Works like a charm. I think Motorola only makes one model, so just do a web search for "Motorola Bluetooth Mouse."

You really do need a dock to connect to USB. The tablet doesn't have a connection port. I've connected using the same Logitech BT mouse I use on my computer. Works just fine.

100% agree on getting the dock. That's what made that tablet awesome. Even if you don't actually use the keyboard part; it's still an extra giant battery.

On top of acting like a screen protector for the tablet when closed.

This is one amazing tablet.

Yes you can use a wire mouse, if you happen to have the tablet connected to a original dock station.
(comes with a usb port and a sd reader)
