System update isn't installing on android 11

[Android Central Question]

When I open software update on my phone it says a new 713MB update available. And It gives me a restart button. When I tap it It says "System Update Installing" but doesn't restart ever. But the first time my phone did restart but for some reason didn't install the update. Ever since the first restart I'm always stuck on "System Update Installing" . It goes on for hours but doesn't restart doesn't finish. Help me please.

No. My phone isn't rooted.

Just a few hours ago i did format factory reset. After that I was notified of that same update. After taping download the update downloaded and told me to restart to insatll the update. The same thing happened. My phone restarted but didn't install the update.

Should I just wait for the next update and see if it installs.

Welcome to AC!
Go into settings>apps>system apps >scroll to software update app should be 2 and tap each one go to storage and clear then back out force stop and check again the update

Did that. it didn't even reset the system update installing page.
