Looks like all the other carriers have dropped Oreo as of today.

I am hoping that the squirrely behavior my N8 has had for the past two weeks will be remedied by the update.

I have my s8 Plus sitting in the drawer and updated it to Oreo. Didn't notice a huge difference. People think a new OS makes the phone all brand new and all. It doesn't.

I want the Note 9 and I want it now!!!!

I don't think they think it "makes the phone all brand new" but more so they just enjoy getting updates and getting the tweaks / new things within the OS. If you don't like the things in the new update that is fine but no need to mock the ones who do TBH.

Yeah - I already lived with Oreo on my Pixel XL and it's not life-changing, not whatsoever.

But, if it fixes the spooky behavior I (and many others) have been seeing it will be awesome!

I am in no rush, may not download it right away. There is nothing interesting in Oreo and a lot of times these updates are buggy. My phone is running perfect right now

T-Mobile has been publishing release notes for all their Note8 firmware releases about a day before they start rolling out OTA. Just look on their Software Updates webpage for the Note8 and you'll know when Oreo is on its way.

If anyone has a PC, they coyld also do it with Smart Switch tonight, not sure what time it comes out. Just bypasses the time you have to wait to get it OTA. Hope you guys get it tonight! Not a major improvement here on Verizon like others were also saying, though.

I'm getting kinda bored with my Note 8. Good news is that it is sounding like July is when the Note 9 will be released! Hopefully pre orders start right after July 4th!
