Hopefully if their merger is approved and is allowed to proceed, then possibly in 2 or 3 years then Sprint might get rid of CDMA and of the GSM route and then Vastly improve their LTE Network where it will Improve on All fronts from Speed to Call Quality. And if the Merger is allowed to go through and Sprint eventually switches over to GSM, then the Choices of Phones would Vastly Improve. The only thing that would make it Better is that the Carriers Stop Crippling the Phones by telling the Manufacturers to Disable specific Features that the Manufacturers had originally designed into their Phones. The Only way around this is to purchase an Unlocked Phone.
Then if Sprint / T-Mobile will use a Global GSM Standard instead of the US GSM, then We could get the Better Spec Phones that are kept out of the US Marketplace.
Then, Pricing.
Hopefully if the merger is allowed, then the Pricing for All Tiers stays the exact same or when 5G comes online, then a tiny bump in Pricing and loose the Data Caps in reference to Throttling.
