T-Mobile done with HTC 10

HTC said it themselves that they didn't know it would be in such high demand so they made limited supply for carriers. They said that they made the unlocked model to be used on ATT and T-Mobile because persons would get faster updates. T-Mobile won't have much and as soon as they get in stock they will be sold out because persons order before they come in

Per the HTC update page there will be no updates for those of us who managed to get the 10 before it disappeared into the mists of time. Marshmallow forever. Yay. WTF.

Where does it say that? Can you provide a link?

You select your carrier and the phones on that carrier show up. The 10 is gone. Unlisted phones will not be updated.

That sucks, The m8 was a great phone, really liked the design. I know m9 was a bit of a dud but it seems like HTC has really lost their footing in the flagship market. The 10, while I don't own it got great reviews.

Looking forward to the HTC nexus :)

We won't get updates through AT&T because we don't have a carrier branded phone. The only updates from a system perspective will be through HTC.

The 10 is not listed for Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile or the unlock version. I don't believe the T-Mobile version is not going to get updated to N.

HTC 10 still listed at Verizon

Sorry I meant on HTC software update site. I was trying to make a point that just because the 10 does not show up for software updates on T-Mobile it also doesn't show updates for any version of the 10.

Lower the price to $499 permanently, increase base storage to 64GB. I'm not even sure that would help but it's a start. OP3 and Axon 7 are really sticking it to high end android phones. Unfortunately, HTC is caught between a rock and a hard place. They can't survive on brand recognition, they don't have a loyal following like Apple and have has some bad misfires (M8 and M9). The 10 is the best phone they've made ever, but the competition has caught up and in some ways surpassed them. The answer is keep trying to compete on high end specs,(which isn't working) or compete on price and offer more.

OP3, ZTE, Alcatel and other mid rangers are offering more bang for the buck.

You lost me at misfires and claiming the M8 was one of them. About as far from the truth as possible.

You ever thought T-Mobile stopped selling them because of the lack of devices. Even HTC website told me they don't even have enough devices to fill consumers demands. That was the issue from May. T-Mobile was telling people only 20 units came in and they are already pre ordered so the rest of orders have to wait on the next batch. Many persons were ordering from HTC website and had to wait a long time. Persons who ordered on April had to wait until June so why say sales are low

No one wants to think positive when it comes to HTC it is automatically negative even tho none of us actually know the reason they prefer to assume the worse

I thought I misread that too...lol I don't keep up with sales or anything but I thought the m8 was a success and I know it won many awards and I personally loved the phone

HTC spend most of their time with VR and the new nexus this year. They don't have time to produce as many HTC 10 as they would like too. I know personally I they were never intending to sell as many HTC 10 as they did because they are venturing on to other innovative products. Honestly, that's the reason for the delay on orders which was one month. After pre orders, they were amazed and knew they couldn't fill all of those orders. So all this garbage saying the HTC 10 isn't selling well is rubbish

I highly doubt they stopped selling due to demand. That doesn't make any sense at all really. They just put things on backorder.. Not stop carrying a device that's selling.

They do stop selling devices that aren't selling since it doesn't make sense to keep stock sitting there.

Interesting. I just checked the HTC Update page and it says:

"We're excited to see Android N and get it into HTC customers' hands. At this time, we can confirm the HTC 10, HTC One A9, and HTC One M9 will receive Android N."
