Have anyone running stock T-mobile firmware notice Sprint bloatware installed? I was messing around system file and see more like fews. . I know they merged, but man have a clean software.

T-Mobile uses the Carrier Hub app as well. I'm not sure if that was to account for the Sprint merger, or if they used it separately before, but in any case, it's not unusual.

Was never pre-installed on my Samsung Tmobile version devices, you would think be opposite Tmobile branding or apps on sprint phones , i mean Tmobile doesn't have lot of bloat anyways though.

It's on the Galaxy A32 5G I got directly from T-Mobile. That's a more recent phone, so maybe if you got a phone from T-Mobile a few years ago, they might not have had the Carrier Hub yet.

Whoa! Steady on T-Mobile, don't forget to leave enough room for the NSA spyware. :D

Yeah. Both apps are from Sprint when you looks up Google Store.

I can't disable it. Might switch back to Samsung firmware, not having my hope up for Esim .

Dont blame you or use package disabler pro to get rid of it

I am sprint customer using t-mobiles network. This probably has to do with the ability for the phones to work on both carriers. I can slap a sprint sim back in my s21 and activate it on the website if I choose to.

I imagine the t-mobile firmware/bloat is going to be this way until they completely get rid of everything sprint. I have the t-mobile account app installed upon putting setting up a t-mobile SIM card. I pay my bill and check my account through the sprint app which recognizes my number as being a sprint number even though I am strictly connected via the t-mobile network.

Yours a t-mobile phone or sprint?

I got the phone through my sprint account, but it also had a text saying its t-mobile compatible via the website. Its almost like its an unlocked phone that can on be used with sprint or t-mobile sims. If put a sprint sim back in and reboot it will do another restart and load the sprint splash screen and sprint specific apps. If I put a t-mobile sim back in it and restart it will load the t-mobile splash screen and install the t-mobile specific apps.

Its definitely a weird situation, which is also why I ordered a pixel 5. I think updates issues as well as carrier issues are going to be more frequent as the 2 networks move into a single network. I rather use a phone for the time being that isn't under the control of a company slapping to completely different networks together.

Yeah it definitely acts like a unlocked sim phone , that's what happens when you sim unlock carrier phones

I can confirmed A32 5G and Note 20 Ultra branded T-mobile have the same software I mention above.

After watching Prison Break series, I don't feel right using modified software...just feel wrong lol. iOS you're good at this for once.
