T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

mine was seamlessly fast and on all my paperwork and email everything looks correct and correct information. So maybe that's a new pre order label.

You also need WiFi Mac address so you have to have the phone in hand to register for anything unless you order straight from Samsung then you get auto registered.
 
If I have original Jump on Demand with T-Mobile will I be able to purchase note 8 from Samsung and it not affect my JOD? I'm thinking bout canceling my pre order with T-Mobile and ordering through Samsung

I don't think that would matter, Samsung.com orders are separate from Tmobile. You wouldn't have the phone financed through T-Mobile in that case.
 
Yea I wondering since my S8 is financed through T- Mobile wouldn't I have to return it to them ? If that the case then I would miss out on the $450 dollars that Samsung is giving and will just keep my pre order with T-Mobile.
 
I have been TMO customers for years and I am sad to say while they are making record profit they are really lowering their customer service skills. I have been jump on demand (2) customer for years and in the past when I have preordered my S7 edge, LG G6, and S8 they have given me free overnight shipping and no processing fee. Last night as I was placing my order not only they wanted to charge me $20 processing fee for calling them, which BTW was only Optio for JOB customers, they also wanted to charge me $7 for 7 day shipping. WHAT IS POINT OF PRE ORDER IF THEY SHIP ME THE PHONE 7 DAYS AFTER IT'S RELEASED. I cancelled my order and will just pick it up at a local store. I was holding TMO at higher standards, but I guess they are just like everyone else. If there is a TMO rep on this chat I would love to hear what is going on.

You are wasting your time by calling in. Initiate a Twitter DM or a Facebook chat with them and order that way. No $20 fee. Everyone is getting charged for shipping. There are other shipping options, including $25 for overnight. Since there's no down payment on JoD, posting a few bucks for shipping isn't the end of the world.

I did Facebook chat, Jump on Demand, and paid $24 overnight shipping that's it. They did call at the end to verify my payment method, but confirmed $would be charged

If your S8 is on JoD or you owe Tmobile any money on it at all, it has to be paid off before you can trade it in to Samsung.
 
I'm on the original Jump. Having had the S8+ for only 4 months, I was told by TMo CS that I'd have to wait 2 additional months before I could Jump to the Note 8. Well, 20 minutes later and a very helpful Katherine on Big Pinky's Twitter help page, my pre order is in.

This thread so reminds me of the Note 7 pre order thread. Let's see how many pages this one will become.
 
Just ordered mine.... Yes... Had to pay 25 shipping... But oh well.... Zero down with JoD... Cant complain. Sept 15th can't come quick enough.
 
Had to reorder do to shipping method screw up. Had standard instead of overnight. I'm already waiting 3 weeks. Not going to add an extra week to that.
 
just pre ordered the orchard gray note 8 took 3 calls I think most reps don't know what they are doing cheers!!

I absolutely love this new phone it's not too long it's not are the shape for me I have no trouble reaching the fingerprint sensor nor anything else on the thing it's just perfect
