T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

I am currently on the Jump on demand program. I contacted tmobile to get some information regarding down payment, Wow! The down payment for the 128 gig is 279.00plus tax!... $307.00!OUCH!..The second model is between $500-600 dollar range!!!!

Hey everyone, glad to see you again. Definitely planning to pre-order through JOD. But over $500 down payment for the 512 GB model!? Damn...

They said the down payment will vary from account to account based off time with tmobile and account score

Why would it be any different than the above $279/$30month?

If that is what it is .. that is what it is. I didn't look at prices at the time of that post. I was simply responding to him that yes JOD is not $0 anymore.

Not sure which way I prefer money down and $30/month or 0$ down and $42/month. Guess all depends on how long keep phone.

For me (if I used Jump On Demand) I would prefer the $0 a month. What if I wanted to swap in two months (the whole point of JOD is the freedom to swap) -- I would have wasted a bunch on the down payment. While not as much as if I only had EIP (since you can't just swap without paying off) but still to me $250 (or $500) down for a lease is a tad high. At that point I would rather just not deal w/ leases.

The increased monthly price really isn't an issue because if you do decide to keep it versus trading up to change phones you wouldn't be paying any more then someone who got it as an EIP.

JOD is completely pointless without $0 down. It's basically just Jump at this point except you can change any time you want.
