T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

I just cant get over the fact they are seriously expecting people to shell out $500 on a down payment. The down payment for the lesser model is one thing...its still way higher than it ought to be but whatever.

Sucks, I feel bad for you guys, I'd definitely be throwing a Twitter fit if it were me lol.

knowing me I'm still going to get the phone but this is really the first time in a long time I'm actually here saying to myself wow that's an absurd price for a downpayment

What's even crazier to think about is that only a couple of years ago $500+ was starting to get close to the retail cost of the phone...right? Weren't phones mostly in the $600-$700 range just 2 years ago?

Just threw my Twitter fit. I've been happy with TMobile up until this, 500 bucks is insane

it's going to get even worse once the merger starts rolling in with Sprint, start expecting higher prices

You mean higher fees. The prices for the phones will stay the same so they can stay competitive. Maybe even still say it's less per month (with the extreme high down payment), but yea. I know what you mean. It's very possible higher or more fees will be added.

And that's when they start losing customers unless their network is far superior, which currently for me, it isn't.

Jesus, looking at these down payments I was salty about Sprint but I guess I shouldn't complain. No money down, upgrade after 12 months and 50% off the monthly cost of the note 9 which leaves it at about 20 bucks a month for me.
