T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

Please forgive me for not reading all 700 posts but I did read a lot of them. From what I am gathering the 512GB haven't shipped yet??

If this is the case I don't feel so bad waiting but am shocked that they are having issues with getting the preorders out. Although I don't believe Samsung was prepared to have that many 512GB preorders......

I have called several stores in my area, although they couldn't tell me numbers, all three confirmed that they may get a handful in of the 512 gb at best, and one even told me that there was a backorder for that one and that they may not get any in until next week.

I can't even see the IMEI for my preorders. The only IMEI I see is for the Note 8 I'm trading in. Where did you find the IMEI for your Note 9? Normally you don't need that to register, just the copy of your preorder receipt.

My understanding is you have to launch the Shop Samsung app from the Note 9.

The orders directly from Samsung is shipped today and will be delivered this Wednesday. I ordered directly from Samsung, Tmobile version 128gb and it was shipped this morning via FedEx (free 2 day) and the FedEx app says it will be delivered this Wednesday. The package is 4 lbs.

That doesn't seem like a lot. I bet they run out.

This is correct, the 512gb in Blue is in back ordered status (Purple is still good for launch delivery the last I checked). If you do a fake order for Best Buy it says "We'll notify you when it's ready to ship" and doesnt even give you a date. If you do a fake order on Samsung.com the last I checked it said it wont ship until almost October and if you do a fake order on T-Mobile it says Estimated ship date : 09/19/2018 - 09/26/2018.

If you do a fake order on Samsung.com the last I checked it said it wont ship until almost October and if you do a fake order on T-Mobile it says Estimated ship date : 09/19/2018 - 09/26/2018.

Wow. I sure hope my Blue 512GB I ordered shortly after midnight on the 10th ships soon. Still showing a ship date of 8/24 but says it's on hold. Not sure what that means. We will see soon enough I guess.

at this point, is it even worth it? I changed my order for that very reason..that and i was afraid that if the phone did break or if something happened to it, there would not be enough units for a insurance claim.

I wouldn't worry if you ordered on the 10th and your order says 8/24 ship date. I ordered on the 15th and mine says Estimated to ship 08/29/2018 - 09/05/2018. So at this point if I get it in that time frame, oh well it could be worse. I sure as hell wouldn't be happy if it says "Will ship week of Sep 30, 2018" like it currently says if you try to place an order on Samsung.com.

I ordered my phone through tmobile, I have for several years... When my phone arrives I go to the Samsung app and go to promotions (claiming my goodies) , than I type in my personal information, than I take a clear picture of the side of the box or where the information is located (white label)... than you send the picture... When Samsung receives your information, You should be good to go!...

You also need the phones IEMI number and proof of purchase of how much you paid.

according to internal documents, phone ship as early as August 21 (I'm thinking worst case scenario) and stores get inventory starting in 23rd but can't sell till 24th. should be safe bet we get it on 23rd at latest.
