T-Mobile: Galaxy S9/S9+ Official Pre-Order Thread

What's every one doing for insurance? I skipped it altogether, but I might change it
I thought for Jump on Demand, insurance is required! I. e. They force you to accept and pay for the monthly insurance fee!

Didn't think I'd be wrong on that. Really? You could skip insurance?

The regular Jump program includes insurance in the payments. Jump on Demand doesn't require it.

if im not mistaken it goes by your credit. that determines if you have to put down a down payment

I don't think so. Mine is near perfect and I still have to. The rep said it's because Tmobile doesn't want monthly payments to get too high, hence a down on the 9+ but not the 9.

I didn't do Jump, I just did straight up EIP

I gave my son the S8+and got the Note 8 in Sept. Now I'm debating on the S9+ with an alternate carrier.

I came close to pulling the trigger on a Note 8 recently, but decided to wait and see the reviews on the Xperia XZ2. I've always wanted a Sony Android phone. I'm using my iPhone X as my daily.

How are you liking the Iphone X. The screen on it looks great

I like iOS, so I really like it. I can see how somebody that isn't a fan of the OS wouldn't like it. It's even polarizing on iMore full of Apple fans though.

Any guesses on the ship date for the pre-orders? I just checked my previous orders. My Note 8 arrived on September 6, a full 9 days before the official release date. If T-Mobile can pull that off again, perhaps we could have the S9/S9+ by next Wednesday!

Good news to those on jod that are interested in the s9+. T-mobile just dropped the down payment. It is now 0 down in line with the s9.

Re: T-Mobile version of Galaxy S9+

Boy do I remember this problem lol. Some of them aren't trained with the Jump On Demand (which I have). You need to preorder it either through Chat window or on the phone. You can't preorder a JOD straight online, which would be convenient grr.

I'm learning now that I should probably just get my midnight pre-orders done through social media, namely Twitter. I'm just a little impatient though, as there's no guarantee when they'll respond. I could also just wait until the day time when I'd probably get a more competent phone rep. But in my mind that means I may not be getting my phone as early as if I ordered right at midnight lol.

the only true and real sign that it will be shipped shortly would be the debit to our card. everything else would be speculation or wishful thinking.

right?

Can't site my sources, but it's true I promise ☺

Not trying to sound rude but my best friend is a store manager for a T-Mobile Corporate Store here in Las Vegas, Nevada and he told me the $120 is still valid for the S9 Plus. Then I called T-Mobile Customer Service (got the Albuquerque, New Mexico call center) and they stated the exact same down payment, I did all of this within the last 20 minutes.

So without having an official link (I could care less about the person that told you) then it doesn't seem true...

If you're going to post information like that you need to be able to back it up and you should include that information with the original post.

Anyone can say they have some inside information...if you can't back it up then please don't post it because it doesn't help anyone.
