T-Mobile: Galaxy S9/S9+ Official Pre-Order Thread

My girlfriend and I will be jumping to S9 and S9+ respectively. Coming from S8 and Note 8.

I can also confirm T-Force told me $0 was available for 3 year customers for the S9+, but I only got one year

It was all over Reddit earlier

Anyone know the delivery time difference between house delivery and Amazon box pickup (is that even possible since it needs a signature).

Since its a 4 hour window for drop figured if its a early box pick id rather do that (and i can actually leave the house)

Anytime I've gotten phones delivered whether insurance replacement or pre-ordered devices there has been No signature required. Fortunately, I've been home each time and grab it off the porch as the driver leaves.

With any preorders or shipped devices, I usually pick up at my local UPS location, or if timed right, I have it shipped to work. With this preorder I didn't want to chance it so I have it set for my home, but I always go into the MyUps app and once tracking is there, I select hold at the local UPS. In my area, the local UPS is the delivery depot so it's easy and it's not too far out of the way.

Still seeing the 3/13-3/14 delivery, but if the past repeats itself, it may ship early. The Note shipped early by several days. Will see.

I'm seeing 3/14-3/16, despite my ordering at 11:01 PM CT on March 1! I don't know that these ship dates are too meaningful. I'm hoping they'll start to ship as early as this week.

Definitely get the UPS app that usually updates before Tmobile site does

Hopefully we sill see tracking labels created on the 11th and delivery a couple days later. TMO ususaly ships early.....like the Note last year

It's not out of the question. Like I said, my Note 8 was at my doorstep 9 days before launch. I'm not holding my breath for having my phone on Wednesday, but end of the week doesn't sound crazy.

Oh, I also stayed up late that night, so I know how you feel.

Yea. I preordered the other night - was up half the night because I'd preordered through the Tmobile facebook chat and they take quite some time to respond lol.

What's up with the fingerprint at the bottom of the screen? It makes it look like a unlock from the lock screen.

also:

what Micro SD cards did you guys decide to get? i can never understand this: each and every time, i buy a new card.

the reason is that i have my card with stuff on it in my S8+ now (or any other previous generation phone), and with the new phone, say now the S9+ connected via a cable and using Smart Sync/Smart Transfer, i need a new card to go in the S9+ too!

what card is the best to buy currently for the S9/+?
