T-Mobile: Galaxy S9/S9+ Official Pre-Order Thread

So do you all think it's worth going from a note 8 to an s9+ ? Note I did not say upgrading because it's 2 separate types of phones

Mine was one of the Note8s with freezing issues, so it was a no-brainer for me. Assuming my Note8 didn't have problems, I'd probably say it's not really worth it unless you aren't losing any money from the switch (i.e. Jump On Demand with zero down) and don't use the S-Pen that much.

I should mention that I did get a warranty replacement Note 8 - original did freeze up and had an odd Moisture Present note that wouldn't allow any charging (it wasn't moist at all). It did reboot on its own a couple of times. The replacement I've had for probably 2 months now and haven't had any real issues other than an annoying thing with messages "hanging"and circulating, before they go through sometimes - some of them take over a minute to "send".

Have been at work all day so not a LOT of work with the new 9+ but so far it's quite positive.

Note 8 was terrible, my first device had a screen issue that one day the phone went completely black, and now my 2nd device has touch issues

Pre-order of lilac purple S9 for wife coming from s7. Have a Note 8 myself but waiting on Note 9. Haven't used smartswitch before. Is that best way to go to ensure wife doesn't lose text, apps, etc? As far as smart switch, really any difference using cable, desktop or wifi? Thanks in advance!

has anyone ever gotten an extra phone that wasn't ordered?

i'm sure someone might have, but I have not read about it. however last year myself and someone else on here never got charged their $120 downpayment for the S8+ on JOD. They did the initial pull/hold, then never recharged it.

Mine was just delivered! I don't know how I'll make it through the last two hours of work!

sync'ing 155 apps takes a very long time.

using smart transfer now and it looks very busy doing all sorts of transfers.

hope things transfer properly. ugh.

That is quite a few apps you have there I don't recall how many I had but I'm gonna say it took maybe 15.20 minutes I'm not sure

Just got my S9+! Going to charge it to full capacity, and then get started snapping photos!

trying to get used to this new fingerprint scanner is rough, I never had an issue with the placement of last year's models.
