I cant help but to wonder if its because the Nexus can pick up the 1900mhz spectrum where as other TMO branded devices go to the 1700mhz spectrum.
TMO does have the bulk of its spectrum / speed in the 1700mhz band and only recently opened up the 1900 for iPhone and unlocked ATT devices. THe 1900mhz stuff has less thru put at least it did in Dallas when i was doing some testing using TMO vs ATT phones. I always got superior speeds on my TMO devices then i did with my ATT devices.
I cant help but to think if you guys had the ability to test with a TMO GS3, or One S, or GS2, or other TMO branded devices that excluded the 1900mhz spectrum how the testing results might come out.
