Do you have a white or black phone?

The racist folks at LG will not let the update tool work with the white version.

If you have a white G3 and get the new update loaded, please post.

I've had to reboot twice already today. .

Ok, so did you use the instructions from XDA? .

You said it hosed your phone up the other day. . How did you get it running again?

AND......... most importantly, does it work as good as it did on KitKat?

I have not yet updated to D85120e. I am still running Kit Kat on my LG 3. I have just one question...I keep getting the update notice...Is it worth it to download the Lollipop update? I have very few complaints with my LG3 except for occasional WIFI calling issues. I have not heard anyone saying " this is one download you need to get". Yes or no???

Try rebooting the WiFi router and see if that helps. If it doesn't, then consider clearing cache through the recovery menu. Be sure to clear cache only and erase data/factory reset as that will erase the device, including internal SD card.

Yea I tried that and it's still not connecting to it or if it does only for a short time

I am beginning to think that maybe T-Mobile update D85120e does not have all the problems that the first Lollipop rollout had!
I have not found many complaints about it as I had after the first rollout. Maybe they did it right this time.

I'm still terrified to try it. T-Mobile sent me a new device and advised to ignore updates, which I have. So it's back to KitKat, 2 day battery life and responsive performance. Not sure if what I stand to gain by trying this Lollipop fix is worth the risk. It was like running the G1 on Gingerbread.

So is this update stable and fixed the battery drain and heat issue? I really want to update but the last one killed my phone and T-Mobile had to replace it. KitKat runs fantastic but I want the VolLTE functionality Lollipop provides.
