T-Mobile LG G4 Updated!

So I updated this morning then worked all day. After spending the afternoon with it, I think it is a bit more responsive. Also, I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed when unlocking the phone with the swipe gesture, it's almost a little too fast now. Certainly not complaining.

I have my phone connected to the work server so I can't tell...I have to enter a PIN code to unlock. I do notice it is a little more reponsive in general.

I have noticed that since the update Quick Charge is at least twice or even more faster then it was before the update!

This is beginning to become a ridiculous amount of time to wait for this update. It was pushed almost a week ago.

Finally got mine. The only info it gave me was now I could make calls over WiFi. Which I already had from day 1.

I got the update OTA today and had a problem with Chrome. Reboot did not fix it but force stop did. Wifi calling seems to be a little quicker on the draw which would be welcome.

Two things I noticed other than the slow mo, and notifications being split from the sound, was it defaults back to wifi calling preferred (probably why some people just noticed it for the first time) and touch screen sensitivity is much better. I tested my touch screen with maps where it used to be really hard to rotate and tilt my maps with a tempered glass screen protector on. Now it does it with ease.

Loving the update because of the improved touch response but it seems as though my battery life has taken a hit. Haven't tested super scientifically but it seems like I've gone from 5-6 hours SOT to 4+ hours SOT.

All i can do is wait for it. I need my touch response to be better.

Here is a thought......not saying try this....I was going to before I got the update.

****WARNING***** I didn't do this and have no proof or idea if it works.
I was about to factroy reset my phone. Of course with LG that is easy because of the LG Backup program and I use Nova launcher so I can back up my home screen. I was going to do it thinking it would sort of kickstart the OTA....but, alas, I didn't have to because it updated. Just to let you know, I got my LG G4 on day 1 of it being offered....in fact, I had to wait 30 mins. before the safe opened at the T-Mo store so they could get the phone.

One full day with this update and I can truly say the screen the sensitivity is way better! Also noticed wireless charging seemed to charge faster, but this is with little time to say for sure. Will keep checking. On the down side, seems like battery life took a little hit. Also, with only one day of use, can't be for sure. Just know, after a twelve hour day of my standard use I'm at 36% where usually around 45%. Also says the android system used more than my screen. Could have been the update too. Of course way to early to know, but one thing is for sure, screen sensitivity/responsiveness is way better!

Two things also worth noting about my current experience with this update is in an attempt to fix my touchscreen pre update, I disabled Dual Window and enabled Force GPU rendering. I think it helped a little, but with the new update, I have kept it that way and love my G4 again. Another note, I never had problems before my screen protector, but never had a phone in the past that was affected so dramatically by using one. And they are a must for me.

The battery life goes back to normal if you take the battery out and wait 30 seconds and reboot. I got 20 hours yesterday.

This is the strangest update I've seen. Taking forever for some of us weeks after the first rollout and you can't even use the lg software to manually upgrade
