To all those who selected the $99 bundle when registering their claim.

Apparently those who ordered on Samsung.com were able to select the $99 promotion immediately when they preordered the phone and some people have already recieved the $99 bundle when they recieved their phone. How unfair is that crap? Now I'm really doubting that we will be able to get the $99 bundle even though we selected it. So many people were way ahead of so many others and I'm talking about days. People that preordered on samsung.com on 4/10 we're able to secure the $99 bundle.

That's how the cookie crumbles I guess. I just got the free VR. I still have the card from the Note 7 and tons of Bluetooth headphones.

Maybe I'm trying to justify saving the $99 because I put some money down for the phone already.

I don't have any large SD cards, and I was looking to buy high end wireless headphones anyway. The 99 dollar promo really drew me in. The fact that we were bait and switched (in a way...) pisses me off big time.

Don't forget to use Samsung Pay. You can get about 2500 points. Worth about $10-12 on a gift card.

Plus, mods delete if not ok to post, there is a Invite code D2A281. You get $5 and I get $5. So $17 for free I guess isn't bad.

I don't recall that being on anywhere on the fine print of the promotion. I would've immediately done it on Samsung.com because I finished paying off my s7 edge and wasn't planning on trading it in.

I had already submitted the claim when I found out it was easier to use the app. People are having issues with the app too. People who have used the app still haven't recieved the email yet. But like I said, it shouldn't matter how you submit your claim.

I look on Samsung promotions for status and the only promotion I see is for the one I got with the s7e last year. I'm not feeling too good about this...

I feel you. I did it yesterday as well, and haven't received any email at all and when I check the status, I get the wait 24 hours" message

I recieved the approval email but no payment link to purchase the $99 bundle. I and someone else on another thread spoke to a representative on chat, and they said that we will receive another email with the payment link within 24 hours, even though we have received an email that states we are approved and that we will receive our gear VR and controller within 6 to 8 weeks. They also said that we will be guaranteed The $99 bundle since we selected that promotion during the claim registration process. I have the entire transcript saved just in case they say that we will not get it because there are no more left. Also the app showed my claim as approved last night, but now it shows as being reviewed. I think they are correcting the issue so that I will have a buy Now link on the app when it's approved again. Here's to hoping.
