T-Mobile Pre-Order Question and Comment Thread

Now that many folks have their credit cards charged already today, doesn't it stand to reason that TMobile would ship the phones out within the next day or two?

Why would TMobile charge today, but not ship the phones out for, say, another 5 or more days? Doesn't make sense.

What do y'all think?

Received the same text and my card just got billed. Still don't expect it to ship until the 19th.

Sounds about right. Last year that Thur and Fri they started debiting the accounts for the Note 7 and the following Thur and Fri we got the phones. With easter being on Sunday this makes sense they're debiting the cards now. A week ahead of time.

I ordered from Samsung. I hope they got our phones stateside. I mean you never know with that nutbag Kim Jong Un and what has been going on the last few days if stuff starts happening and somehow affects air traffic in the region.

With the Note 7 the text said something like it's on its way and that got everyone all worked up and excited. At least this time they put in that they will start shipping the 19th to keep everyone calm.

just because they wrote that shipping is the 19th doesn't mean that shipping can't be prior to the 19th.

i think at this point now, the next real "event" for all of us would be a slew of UPS "you're receiving a package on Friday, April 14th..." notices.

if a large group of us receives such notices from UPS' "MyUPS" app, then that's the next piece of real news/next step.
