T-Mobile Pre-order Thread.

Those of you getting your phones tomorrow, what shipping did you chose? I got suckered into the overnight shipping premium but my phone is scheduled to come tomorrow along with all the others. Only difference is I'm seeing a lot of you got movement yesterday, and mine just got origin scanned this morning. I'm wondering if I should call Tmobile and complain to get my account credited the $24 dollars extra I payed for shipping since it literally offered me no advantages?

I got free 2 day shipping from tforce on Twitter. The only origins scans I see from yesterday is for TMobile phones ordered through Samsung and other carrier phones. My experience is all pre order phones get 2 day or overnight delivery.

Will someone explain where in app I can schedule to just pick up at the ups office once it arrives so that I don't have to wait on driver tomorrow? Screenshot_20200818-103327.jpeg

But it seems like most here on the Tmobile forum are getting their phones tomorrow. I'm sure very few if any payed the 24 dollars for overnight. The representative told me if I didn't pay for overnight, it wouldn't ship until next Monday because tmobile doesn't ship on Friday (8/21) and I would get my phone sometime in the midlle to end of next week. Sounds like I was sold a bag of goods. I'm just wondering if I had a leg to stand on in asking for a credit.

She waived my overnight shipping. I didn't ask her to and I get mine tomorrow

Right, all pre order phones are typically recieved the first day Samsung says the consumer can get them from a specific carrier. Regardless of shipping anyone chose they all go out 2 day or overnight. If it was 2 day then it would have had origin scan yesterday. I would politely reach out to TForce on twitter to explain what you were told and what you are seeing online. Be nice to the reps and odds are they will refund you the money via account credit. They have always been super helpful as long as I have been nice to them. $24 to them is nothing versus the cost of loosing a customer.

I've got movement on one of my phones. The other one still says order processed: ready for ups

It was a code " 2day" for free expedited shipping. You should call and get a credit.

I asked for the $15 shipping, BUT, they upgraded my shipping for free. Maybe they did it to make me feel like I was getting a deal when in fact the phones all arrive at the same time?

Thanks for the tip. Just reached out and will get credited to my account!

Yeah, I ordered over the phone after hours and got one of the representatives out of Country like you usually do after hours and he had me convinced that because of coronovirus that phones absolutely won't ship until the street date of 8/21. He then said that because 8/21 is a Friday and Tmobile doesn't ship on Friday, the earliest it would ship would be Monday and if I chose overnight I'd get it Tuesday next week. I told him that makes no sense. I had a feeling he was full of crap, but took the bait anyway. Either way, just got my refund from Tmobile.

Glad it worked out for you. I avoid dealing with them on the phone as my account always changes when I do. Last time it took a week to get jump 1.0 added back to my account. Tforce on twitter has always been amazing to deal with but sometimes you do get slow response times during peak hours.

I've been reading JOD isn't worth it anymore.

The N20 didn't have a 256GB option in the US.

I ended up not getting the N10+ because of the down payment. Besides there wasn't much difference from the N9. But I do intend to get the N20. I just couldn't decide between Samsung or Tmobile and so I'll wait for in store and hope for the trade in value is still there.

Sure doesn't seem like JOD is that great anymore. One thing I did forget to mention witth the $699 down, the monthly payment would be $26 instead of the usual $54. So it looks like they are trying to get as much money up front from the customer with the idea that they will upgrade once a year. I'm thinking of just buying the Note 10 Ultra 512GB outright and just upgrade every 2 years as it seems there are minimal updates from one gen to the the next anyways. I'm used to the approximately $250 down, that was a much easier pill to swallow.

Oh man, I feel your pain on that. Took almost three billing cycles to get my Jump 1.0 put back for the Note 9. It was a nightmare. They kept telling me that the new jump programs were better, I told them to get bent. Jump 1.0 is one of the reasons that keeps me with Tmobile. If I lose it one day I'll be upset! Everytime I talk to a representative they don't even know what jump 1.0 is! I'm like yeah, I can upgrade every 6 months regardless of how much is owed on the phone. It's usually a back and forth song and dance until they eventually say, wow, yeah I guess you're right. I wouldn't want to give that up either! I'll be dealing with them on Twitter from now on!

Does anyone know if the $150 Samsung credit only applies to pre orders through Samsung, or if it's applicable to anyone who pre orders?

Everyone and starting 21st you should be able to claim in the samsung app. If you pre-ordered through samsung you had the chance at $200 credit.

If it's in good condition Samsung will give you $550.00 if you buy a Note 20 5G

I order through twitter every time and always get free next day shipping. I ordered mine Monday afternoon and UPS shows my phone being here before 4 tomorrow.
