T-Mobile S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Good Lord this thread blew up today lol. Welp, I'm sure many of you are enjoying your devices by now. Mine arrived around lunch time and I'm setting it up as we speak! This thing is gorgeous. Regular S10, 512gb, Prism White.
 
Man, setting up a new phone is always a fun time. Well guys, I'm currently charging, installing apps, authorizing stuff, etc. FPS is gonna take some getting used to, but otherwise no issues.

BTW, I downloaded Shop Samsung and got the Galaxy Buds. Looks like they are reserved invididually on a per carrier basis.

BTW 2, Samsung Dex works just fine. I connected it to my DeX pad so I could charge while installing apps.
 
Holding by window and didn't look rose gold to me. Not a big deal just not like pictures.

Is that Ceramic White or Prism White? The Ceramic White version definitely has a gold hue on the metal. I don't know about "rose gold" specifically though. The Prism White has a silver chassis.
 
arunma, how do I go about ordering the ear buds on shop Samsung? We only can do it with the new s10, right?
 
I ordered the prism white. Maybe there's a tint to it, but since I'm looking next to white snow maybe it's looking more silver. Not a big deal I still love it!

You can only order the earbuds on the Shop Samsung app. Reason being is when you go to claim the earbuds the form automatically gets the IMEI number and MAC address from the phone. Launch the app, tit the 3 bars menu icon in the top left corner, tap my inbox and then you will see a link under the picture of th earbuds that says something like does my device qualify (can't actually remember exactly what it says) and then it will walk you through filling out the form... took maybe two minutes. Then it will say that it has been submitted and will be reviewed; I got a confirmation about 5 minutes later that it was approved and would ship around 3-18.
 
Well, I couldn't resist. Walked in to best buy while my kid was at tutoring and they had 2 in the shelf. Now they have one.

Also, the fps seems to be getting better. Probably just me getting better at using it.

Ugh. so i'll have to wait till the recharging is done, and i've done the set up and Smart Switch, etc, before i can register for the free ear buds. ugh.

how are you guys able to do the recharging, the Smart Switch, and all that so quickly? doesn't Smart Switch take well over an hour for most people due to the sheer amount of data to be moved?

incredible how quickly you guys were able to complete the recharging and the Smart Switch!
 
Silicone fit?! I have that one and it feels nice to touch but not sure it will save my phone the way I tend to drop them unfortunately.

Yes it is. It's very nice and has a nice feel to it. But its going to be a dust magnet.
