T-Mobile S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Can anyone that's received the galaxy buds with their phone test the following two things and report back please?

1) When you do the touch command for the digital assistant, does it simply launch whatever the default assistant is set to on your phone like most bluetooth headphones do? Or does it actually force you to use Bixby?

2) I already know from youtube reviews that if you pull one of them out of your ear, it won't automatically pause the music (in continues playing in the ear you still have in). None of the youtubers have mentioned if it STOPS playing in the one you pulled out though. So if you're listening to the buds, and you pull one out, does THAT ONE stop playing? and when you put it back in, does it continue playing automatically? If not simply by taking it out, what about replacing it back in its case?

Hooray, just got my S10+. I already did the SmartSwitch for files on my internal storage from my S7Edge. Any suggestions on the best way of transferring files like pictures and audio from my S7's SD card to my new S10+'s? I thought this might have been done via SmartSwitch, but I couldn't seem to find the option... Thank you in advance.

Nothing needed. Just move the sd card over. That's how I always do it.

Transfer files to a PC then to the new card. Probably the easiest way.

I'll share mine.

At first, it was downright terrible. Ran the update, and have been periodically turning the phone off and on using the fingerprint. It is a night and day difference now, unlocking every time with barely a touch.

So are you saying the phone is learning your fingerprint as you go?

I agree with this. I'll add that it worked a bit better after I removed the pre-installed screen protector as well. Though I didn't use the screen protector for long enough to say exactly how much impact that had.

i can't figure out how to add a virtual "button" to wake the phone up, i.e. a virtual HOME button, at the bottom of the S10+ screen? i am interested in mostly to wake the phone up while it is resting on a table or nightstand, for example. i used to merely press where the HOME button would have been, and a virtual button is right there. simple. now, i'm required to use the right hand side's physical on/off button to take the phone up.

is there another way to more conveniently wake the phone up please?

may i ask if anyone might be so kind as to help, please?

on the S9+, it was a given, nothing one needs to do!

may i ask if anyone else is interested in removing the already-applied screen protector please?

i don't like the feel of it on edges, etc, so i'd rather not have a screen protector.
