T-Mobile S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

I held the S10+ at my local Best Buy today.. Glad I changed my mind and went with the Plus because even it felt small and weightless in my hand!

Don't get me wrong, definitely a beautiful device and cleaned up UI from the T-Mobile Note9 (8.1 Oreo) I'm currently running.

It just felt like it was fake.. ??????

I know, what the heck!? Usually when I pre-order my phone at 5:00 in the morning on release day, and then come to AndroidCentral, I find out that others here already did so six hours before me. This time, I got here to find crickets, and I actually started the pre-order thread. I'm usually the one who's late to the party, not the guy who kicks it off!

I agree with you. Very light and smaller compared to Note 9. I'm glad I went to the plus over the regular 10.

I just talked to T-Mobile and they told me they are out of the S10+ 128gb and only have the 1TB left at $1,550. Anyone else being told this?

If its a store they might be out of pre-order/initial stock. Happened to me during the S7 Edge release. I just went to another location that still had some for pre-orders.

I ordered my T-Mobile S10+ 128gb variant though the Shop Samsung app yesterday. Says shipping by March 15th.

Prism white S10 w/ a 3/6- 3/8 delivery. I ordered yesterday around 7p. Played with both models in Best Buy and like the smaller one better.

$88 total down. $37.XX a month.

Has anyone heard yet of what might be the early shipping dates for those of us who pre-ordered during the first couple of hours of the start of the S10/10+ pre-ordering?

I ordered via the phone as I am a Jump on Demand customer, and the TMobile website specifically says that we cannot do a JOD via their website -- very strange. It was the same last year. It's a hassle, as the first phone rep didn't know what to do (!) and had to put me on hold and finally a supervisor came.

also: what shipping options did you guys get? i have "express" but he told me verbally on the phone that it was the free/included "3-day shipping option".

Same here. I didn't order right when preorders opened, but I did so about seven hours later when I woke up the next morning. I got free three day shipping and an estimated ship date of March 6-8. A couple things to note.

1. I once ordered at 11 PM when preorders opened. There were people on this forum who got their phones a day before me, who ordered a couple days after the fact. So I figured that the randomness introduces enough variability that it's not worth it to order right away if it means staying up through the night.

2. T-Mobile has ALWAYS shipped before the earliest date in the estimated ship date range. Heck, one time I received my phone in the mail a full nine days before the release date.

You can upgrade JOD through Twitter also and they seem to be easier to deal with. I got the free express shipping as well, but I think once tmobile gets the ok to ship they send all phones out in batches. Probably based on location. I was gonna fight for next day air, but we'll see how express goes. If I get my phone on Wed next week it will prove shipping method doesn't mean much.
