Tab 4 10.1" - how to transfer to ext. hd

I just got the Tab 4. I also use an S4 phone. Is there any way to transfer downloaded material from my phone or tab, to the ext. Hd without the use of a computer?

Just straight from the device to the harddrive. Ext hd is Seagate 1.5tb.
