Tab 4 won't turn on

[AC Question]

I have a tab 4 that will not boot. When I hold down the power+home+volume down buttons, it shows a horizontal white line in the center of the screen. Pushing the volume up button takes me to a black screen with the Odin mode text in the upper left. I've tried both Kies and Odin PC to load the stock firmware on it but Kies just tells me it's not compatible, which it should be, and Odin gives me this:

As far as I know, this tab has not been flashed with a custom rom. I had to use a Pit file with Odin because I was given an error saying Pit not found.
