This isn't a complaint or problem, really. Just surprised the poo out of me:
I've had my tablet for some time, and love it. I recently ordered one of Samsung's 4k TVs through Amazon, and their delivery truck pulled up this afternoon. Part of the delivery service includes the guys carrying the TV to where you want it, plugging it in and verifying that it works.
OK, so they're unboxing it and I'm just standing around. My Tab S2 happens to be sitting in the same room, turned on, but asleep. As soon as they turn the TV on, my tablet beeps and a screen opens, congratulating me on my new Samsung Xxxxx TV. It also said something else about setup, but wasn't on long enough for me to read it all. We soon discovered that the TV was DOA and they took it back. I'll be getting another one in a few days.
I'm disappointed that the TV was bad, but it happens. What shocked me was that as soon as the TV was first turned on, it sent a signal of some kind to the tablet. Must have been Bluetooth, as I never even had a chance to enter a wifi password. The only button of any kind that was touched was the power button on the TV remote. Actually, I'm impressed that it was gonna make an attempt at walking me through the setup process. We'll see if it happens again when the replacement TV gets here...
