Takes forever to start dialling

Every time i try to place a call, either from the call log or a new number it takes forever to react and start dialing. ej. If I touch a contact from the call log nothing happen in the screen for about 30 to 40 seconds, some times I get so frustrated that I starting touching and touching several times the contact until finally starts dialing.

Any ideas?

I have not had this issure. Start simple and work your way up. Id try and Hard Reset (hold the power button for 10 seconds, until it shuts off) if that doesnt work. I would try to force stop the dialer (settings > apps > dialer > force stop) and reopen the dialer... if that doesnt work i would take it to your carrier and show them the issue. it might be a lemon phone.

I just got a replacement phone a few weeks ago because my screen had some problems. I noticed the same dialing problem happening. After trying to dial somebody, nothing would happen sometimes. If I tried to dial again, sometimes it will call them twice. It's very annoying. I have actually gone back to the home screen and the call will pop up half a minute later. It doesn't happen often but it is a pain when it happens. It seems to be happening less frequently lately
