So, I'm not sure if anyone else is having a slight issue with this, but in the system gestures, for tap to wake future, mine doesn't always respond to my tap touch every single time. I just disabled it. Basically, tell her liable. What I will have to do to line up my lock screen is just hit the power button. On my Pixel 3 XL, the double tap to wake feature was the same exact way unfortunately. Has anyone else experienced this at all or does it work more consistently for you?

No major problem here. Once in a while I have to double tap twice but 90% of the time it works fine.

Gotcha. Well, I've just turned the feature back on, so I shall have to try and be a little bit more patient with it, and hope for more luck and success. haha

Well, here's a quick update for you: I turned on the extra touch sensitivity option on the display settings, so far the tap to wake feature from my lock screen has been 100% responsive... Interesting........

I was also having issues with the tap to wake function working intermittently. This helped. Thanks!

Hey there, thanks for the feedback! I'm soo happy to have helped you out a little bit! Yeah, without the "increased touch sensitivity option" turned on, my "tap to wake" feature was working sporadically at best. Inconsistent , and a bit frustrating. Now, it seems almost prefect!

It often worked well on my Pixel 2. Aren't it using a screen protector?

Edit: I see it is now working well for you! Hooray!

Yeah what's even weirder is the fact that when "tap to wake" doesn't work even with increased touch sensitivity turned on, if you lay your phone down on a flat surface, then tap the screen, the lock screen instantly lights up. It's got to be something to do with the proximity sensor.

That is *definitely* weird!
