So, I'm not sure if anyone else is having a slight issue with this, but in the system gestures, for tap to wake future, mine doesn't always respond to my tap touch every single time. I just disabled it. Basically, tell her liable. What I will have to do to line up my lock screen is just hit the power button. On my Pixel 3 XL, the double tap to wake feature was the same exact way unfortunately. Has anyone else experienced this at all or does it work more consistently for you?

No issues for me I use this feature all the time. I only have to tap it once to wake, but i have a habit of double tapping. They both work and wake the display every time for me.

The tap-to-wake works nearly 100% of the time on my Pixel 5, whether I tap once or twice (a lingering instinctive remnant of my P2XL days). But most of the time, mine awakens just by picking it up (or removing it from its Sena leather sleeve) and moving towards me, or by giving it a double shake (in the same manner that those who owned a Moto X Pure Edition will recall could be used to open the camera quickly).

gotcha, so you've also got the raise to wake feature enabled as well then right?

I have raise to wake off and still works well for me. Also I'm using a glass screen protector.

Yeah, I hear ya dude. Well, what I am playing around with again is the "Increased touch sensitivity" setting under the display settings.

I keep that off. The only time I enable touch sensitivity is when i go for walks outside and wear gloves so it can still early register my fingers. Other than that i don't enable it else it's way to sensitive.

Good luck.

Gotcha, That makes sense to me. Well, for now I am trying that setting out, to see if it helps me at all. Thanks again.
