What's the best way to get help learning how to use my new Rez. Verizon wireless sit e is worthless. I just want to know how to upload images and videos from my phone (gallery) to my desktop. It seems like this is not something exotic. But finding out how to so this simple task is proving to be very difficult. Is there a manual, tech support site, or what? What is are you suggestions.:(

Honestly the best way to learn this phone is to fiddle with it and then use google or the search here at AC for transfer files from phone to PC Rezound

or ask

1. Download HTC sync from HTC's website
2. Grab USB cable that came with Phone
3. Plug into phone
4. Plug into PC
5. Wait til it shows up
6. grab files off of approaite drive

Just ask. This Site is nice to rookies.

I like to use dropbox. It will automatically upload them when you hit a wifi connection, and then they are pretty much on you home computer automatically. You get 2 gigs of space wheen you sign up, and another 5 for having a rezound. The five is applies after you sign into the app for the first time.

There are other ways, HTC sync being one, plugging in your phone to the computer, choosing the storage option, and treating the phone like a usb drive is another way.

Just keep asking questions, we are all willing to help.

+1 to dropbox autosync.

You take a picture and up to dropbox it goes. Go to the computer, and open the dropbox folder (I call it a drive and have it mapped that way) and there is my photo. No need for cables.

Oh and +1 to asking questions here, we do not bite and for the most part havent killed anyone this month. Month is still young, but we made it though another false ICS date without a death...

That's funny. I like this forum more by the day. Other forums start nipping at each other like dingoes over things like that. I'm proud to be here after the rumor date passed and not read a single "Occupy Verizon" thread has flared up like a hemmorhoid in here. Lots ofintelligent people floating around here. Although I won't blame anybody if it's not pushed out by July. I'll help light the torches on Independence day.

+100 for dropbox. Autosync photos is awesome. It uploaded 1700+ pix from my phone to dp. Now they are backed up in the cloud so if my pc bites the dust I have them there. You will have to manually upload your videos though, but it a breeze. Pm me with your email and I'll invite you if you don't have an account already.

I know of the app and what it does but I'm unfamiliar w/ everything else. Maybe it's a different model but didn't Dropbox do some kind of tie-in w/ HTC and the Rezound when it released. I could of swore they had a promotion that gave away free storage space if you downloaded the app on that last big batch HTC phone releases.

Yeah you get an extra 3 gb for having a Rezound.

How do you get the extra 3-5 GB? I downloaded the app and it only gave me 500mb extra.
Did it this morning.
HTC Rezound and Macbook.

Ok. Got an email about the extra 3 gb. Says its only for 12 months? Do you then have to pay after that to keep it?

I love the auto upload of Google+. It chokes on large videos, though (20+ min).
