Tell us when you get the 7.0 update

No jitters here, and everything is usually a lot smoother than when I was on Android 6.

I still don't have N, I'm on VZW.

To those who do have the update, is your battery life.... better? worse? the same?

Sometimes the same, sometimes better. If you join the beta program, you can get the update now. Once you get the update, un-join the beta program.

Yeah, I've definitely considered it, but I'm ok waiting. I noticed that I'm getting many more app updates than normal, like 8 a day.

I'm guessing here, but I theorize that the app developers are fixing/improving their apps for 7.0 (as they get more real-world experience), so if I have to wait another week or two, I think it will result in a better experience. There might be another Android update with bug fixes by then as well.

Did you try removing your sim card and then checking for the update? That has worked for me in the past.

Just curious, anyone using a Google unlocked, unbranded Nexus 6 on AT&T get an OTA update. I have a feeling they (AT&T) are going to be the last to get the 7.0 update just like what happened with anyone using an unlocked Nexus 6 when the 6.0 Marshmallow update came up, AT&T was about 2 months behind everyone else and it didn't matter where you bought your phone.

You're right. It didn't matter where you bought your N6. If you have an at&t sim in your N6, your OTA's will be controlled by them. With that said you can side load the current Nougat OTA from google. If history is telling for Nexus 6 getting Nougat I'm willing to bet it will be a update cycle or two before your Nexus 6 on at&t will see Nougat. When it is approved by at&t the page below will be updated. You will also see that on Oct. 6th at&t only approved a security update to Marshmallow and no Nougat.

Figures, AT&T is actually making Verizon look good at getting updates out. Looking at the past channel logs from the above link, AT&T is consistently running about 3 months behind.

Yup, the security updates get straight through because at&t doesn't have to test them. Anything greater than that has to be pushed through testing and that's where you see that long delay.

I got it on the 4th it's nice to no longer see the beta pop up ha ha.

Just wondering for 7.1 beta to you have to enrol again for it?

I now have the updated, but used the beta program to get it. On Verizon, no luck on getting it to download. So far I have not seen any issues with 7.0.

I've actually seen some jitters in the Easter egg. I'd about forgotten about those cats, but when I checked on them the other day, I could not scroll through them fluidly at all no matter how many times I tried.
