Temporary screen protector?

Got a Z3 Play from Bestbuy few days ago for 350. Works great but the screen plastic that came on it was starting to peel. So I made this temporary protector. Cut up a ziplock bag and tape the back down. Then the Battery mod holds it in place.

But is it safe while charging? Or will the plastic heat up and melt?

The screen film that comes with the phone is a temporary protector, meant to protect the screen while it's in the original box. It's not a real screen protector that is meant to stay on. I think that bag is probably not designed to handle the heat of charging, and you might end up with gooey plastic & tape stuck to the back of a nice phone. I would highly recommend getting a nice screen protector from Amazon, or any other reputable source.

I like the effort but yeah the original protector isn’t really a screen protector and uhhh. :/
