Terrible texting accuracy?

The default LG keyboard drives me nuts sometimes. I like using the swipe feature but when I have to type, it's inaccurate and I'm often misspelling words. Not sure if the glass screen protector has anything to do with it. I love the iPhone's touchscreen and it's very good (does anyone know the technology they are using?). Does anyone else had this issue? I've tried Flesky but it doesn't have swipe.

Edit: also the LG keyboard is the only one with the accessible clipboards shortcut. Does the Gboard have it?

I haven't really used the LG keyboard much. I prefer SwiftKey. Gboard is decent as well. Both have swipe.

I haven't used the default keyboard since the Google keyboard released way back in the day. I tried it on the G2, didn't get much better. Hahah Swiftkey and Gkeyboard is where it's at.

I use swiftkey and it works the best out of the rest for me.

Yeah some of the best are SwiftKey, gboard, and Swype. I probably prefer swiftkey for its accuracy for me though.

I used to love Swype for its accuracy, but that tanked a couple updates ago and I left for a bit. Swift Key also was junk on accuracy for me. I tried Gboard and it was ok on accuracy, but still had its own quirks. Then Swype updated again and seemed to fix the accuracy issues.

So I'm back on Swype, at least for now. They still killed off one of my favorite features, which was the ability to swipe up to capitalize a word. Hopefully they bring it back. It's not quite the great app it used to be, but it's been the best swiping keyboard currently available for me.

Everytime I start to setup a new phone. First install on the list it's always SwiftKey

Where do you go to update it? I don't see the update for the LG keyboard
