Testing Another Carrier

My husband and I both have unlocked N20Us purchased from Samsung and are long time VZW customers. I'm not really happy wirh VZW anymore and would like to test TMobile. Is it really as simple as swapping SIM cards?

Ideally before I just drop VZW I would like to do a test run on TMobile. TMobile's prepaid plans only utilize 4G LTE so I guess I would have to get into a postpaid plan with a new number to be able to try out their 5G service. If their service works out ok I assume I could just port my number after the fact? Or conversely just cancel TMob if coverage is bad?

I've never had an unlocked phone before so this is uncharted territory for us!

Any comments or suggestions?

Yeah Tmobile not with contract you can get a sim from them or prepaid, Tmobile works very well on unlocked model so you'll be good there , just have to test if it has good coverage in your area.

You may have to manually update the APN settings for MMS/SMS and data!
