Tether Android TouchPad and phone for the web!

Hello everyone,

This is my first post here and I just happen to surfing the forum via the HP touchpad which is connected to my Nokia n900 with mobile hotspot. AND ITS QUICK

The CM team have done a fantastic job with there port and for this feature alone, I am very greatful. Thank-you

So are any other users able to tether too there phones?

List your device an app like so...

Phones : n900
Tether APP : mobilehotspot
Location / Tariff : T-Mobile / unlimited net use (this is optional)

This may help other users who find issues with their connection

I can't say that a I know the answer to that one, lets hope another WP user can help?

What tethering apps are available with windows phone, maybe you can try some of the free trail applications?

So

I am using a WM phone (HTC HD2). It gnerates an adhoc wifi signal. I know that andorid has issues with adhoc but my HP Tab can see the signal and connect but gets hung up on getting the IP address.

Anyone have suggestions?

Year and a half ago T-mo had a plan called Even More Plus. This plan did not have 2 year commitment and required unlocked(non-subsidized) phone. So I got my Nokia N900, got this plan for 29.99/month, added $10/month unlimited web for dumbphones(t-mo can't recognize my n900 as a smartphone) and here I go.
