Tethering issues

I don't have access to wired internet ( live in a grannyflat ). so i tether all my net for gaming and browsing but now last 3 days im getting unplayable lagg spikes and im not sure what may be causing it. Missus and i both have Z1 and it happens with both but when i take the computer to the house to use house wifi i get perfect internet. any ideas?

Tethered connection and the home Wi-Fi, different providers, right ? Have you called your provider abvout the problem ?

Have the phone's caches been cleared recently ? Going through all your apps and utilities and clearing all the caches might resolve your problems.

You could be also be experiencing a WI-FI channel problem. Wi-Fi devices have a range of channels from which to choose from, avoiding excessive data overlaps. Routing devices are typically set to "auto", but using a Wi-Fi analyzer (Free), you may find yourself to be on the same channel as someone else's device when tethering.
