Text message font size not sticking

Go into a text message conversation from someone, push the volume down button on the side of your phone and it makes the font smaller. For some reason this reverts back and does not stick. I can't figure out how to make this the default either. Any ideas on this one? Thanks.

Yes I noticed this couple days ago. Both on stock OS and on custom ROMs. Wasn't that much of an annoyance but was odd. I switched to using GoSMS for the time being since I like the pop ups but I did find that if you set the font size to tiny in phone settings or whether dozer you want the text in sms program seems to stick to that.

Yeah I was thinking about maybe switching over to another text app also. Might try that. But just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.
