Text Message on DL30 issue

I am having a text messaging issue on my fascinate now. I was able to put DL30 on my phone with no problems. Got superclean 1.0 on my phone with little issue. I had some questions and they were answered. Still no problems that I was aware of. Felt adventurous and decided to go to blackhole v4.01. Made a backup and then moved to flashing. Had no problems flashing. My issue started when I noticed I would receive text messages but when I sent them they were going through as blank. So I went back to superclean backup. Didn't fix issue. Went to a "different" version of blackhole. No good. I had other problems with this version so I went back to superclean. Text messaging still does not work. Anyone got a fix? I have read on other posts about reinstalling MMS.apk but that was on a different ROM. Please assist.

if you go to settings=>About Phone and scroll to the bottom, can you tell me what your baseband version is?

Sounds like a modem mismatch. You need to be on DJ05 or DL09 with the DL30 build.

My baseband version is S:i500.04 V.DIO1.

Sounds like a modem mismatch. You need to be on DJ05 or DL09 with the DL30 build.

That's correct. You're running the DI01 modem, but you'll need to be running the DJ05 or DL09 modem. That *should* fix your issue.

Thanks to all who helped. I did this and sent a text to myself to see if I got it and could read it. It worked. Now testing by sending a text to my wife. I expect all to go well.
