text message problems? need help

I have a s5 active and one day the text messages just started messing up and tryed everything to get them back to normal. Couldnt figure it out. The problem is that my text stack on top of one another insted of the reply separating The sent text and the reply text! Feels like im talking to my self!! Plz help.

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to the App Manager, selecting the Messaging app, and Force Close, then Clear Cache. Now try again.
